& UK Procurement Regulations
Public procurement in the UK and European Union is governed by a number of Directives
and Regulations (which are then implemented in national legislation). We listed
these for your information.
EC Procurement Thresholds
European Directives and UK Regulations set out detailed procedures for contracts
whose value equals or exceeds various financial thresholds. These thresholds are
set in Euros, and every two years the European Commission publishes the equivalent
values in pound sterling. Details of the current thresholds (from 1 January 2010)
are given here.
